PURPOSE OF JOB:  Tutor elementary or secondary students to help meet Annual Yearly Progress goals as defined by the state and school district.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following:

• Tutor students in Communication Arts and Mathematics to support AYP goals
• Assess and monitor student reading and or math progress 
• Use data to assist in planning for instruction
• Collaborate with classroom teacher about student progress
• Maintain records to support achievement growth of students
• Use supplemental  materials provided through Title Department to affect student growth
• Assist student users with technology aspects of  SuccessMaker, Imagine Learning and Plato programs
• Report growth to building level administration
• Attend scheduled Title I professional development meetings.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:   None

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree
