PURPOSE OF JOB: Collect, analyze, clean, display and report data from internal data systems. 

 

 

What You'll Be Doing: (Responsibilities)

• Assist with collection of data required for state reporting.
• Auditing of various points of data collected in Infinite Campus.
• Utilize data health checks to improve integrity of data.
• Provide support for buildings and departments responsible for entering data.
• Develop functional relationships with various DESE core data departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

To Be Successful at This Job, You'll Need To: (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in education, computer science, technology, or research-related field.
• Three years’ experience with management and analysis of large data sets.

• Three years’ experience with relational databases and working knowledge of related software packages.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and graphics.
• Ability to function independently provided minimal direction.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Well developed, documented, problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet priority assignments and task deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to handle many concurrent tasks in a changing environment
• Competency in navigation on the Internet and use of information search engines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in work-related areas.
