PURPOSE OF JOB: Performs business service functions for local funds collected and disbursed at the assigned school site according to published accounting procedures for student activity funds provided by Business and Finance. This position serves three schools or a high school that exceed 950 students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Adhere to the established chart of accounts for all transactions required to be processed in the student activity bank account and the ALIO financial system. Keep track of all student activity for the school in compliance with student activity
- Prepare cash receipts for all money collected documenting the reason/purpose for the cash Make daily bank deposits as required. Post cash receipts to accounting system daily/weekly.
- Obtain approval for payment of invoice as Post cash to accounting system daily/weekly.
- Establishes and maintains detailed cash receipts data to support all bank deposits and approved detailed invoices to support all Maintain all accounting documents in a secured location at the school site.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and required reports to be submitted to the Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in business administration and two years of meaningful bookkeeping experience OR 6 hours of college level accounting courses and three years of meaningful bookkeeping experience.
- A minimum of three years’ experience working in a computerized business.
- Proficiency using personal computers and software applications including Windows, Excel, Access, Word, etc.
- Proficiency in the use of a 10-key
