PURPOSE OF JOB: Performs business service functions for local funds collected and disbursed at the assigned school site according to published accounting procedures for student activity funds provided by Business and Finance. This position serves three schools or a high school that exceed 950 students.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Adhere to the established chart of accounts for all transactions required to be processed in the student activity bank account and the ALIO financial system. Keep track of all student activity for the school in compliance with student activity
  2. Prepare cash receipts for all money collected documenting the reason/purpose for the cash Make daily bank deposits as required. Post cash receipts to accounting system daily/weekly.
  3. Obtain approval for payment of invoice as Post cash to accounting system daily/weekly.
  4. Establishes and maintains detailed cash receipts data to support all bank deposits and approved detailed invoices to support all Maintain all accounting documents in a secured location at the school site.
  5. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and required reports to be submitted to the Supervisor.
  6. Prepare monthly reports disclosing detail transaction of each club sponsor and the
  7. Maintains a list of club sponsors as approved by the
  8. Processes all school orders of materials and supplies using the ALIO Financial Management
  9. Monitors the schools Monitor outstanding purchase orders, process receipt of goods and services on-line using the ALIO Financial Management System.
  10. Main duty is to process payroll data for the school site.
  11. Cross-trains with other support staff at school sites on duties related to business and
  12. Attends annual training on business functions related to payroll processing and using the ALIO Financial Management
  13. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reading accounting Make recommendations to supervisor on ways to improve accounting for student activity funds.
  14. Maintains and protects accounting records by keeping information.
  15. Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing job Performs other duties as assigned.
